G. Keith Whited | North Carolina Attorney

Keith Whited was born in Burlington, North Carolina and educated in the public schools in Alamance County. He graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1978 with a B.A. degree and from North Carolina Central University School of Law with a J.D., with honors, in 1981. During law school, he was a member of the Law Journal. He practiced in Raleigh, North Carolina from 1981 to 1982, before returning home and was Alamance County Human Resources Attorney from 1982 to 1986. Since then he has been in private practice, serving on the Alamance County Board of Health, including its Chairperson; Alamance County Board of Elections; and the Boards of various churches and charitable organizations. Keith has been admitted to practice in all of the United States District Courts in North Carolina, was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1994. He serves as the current Graham City Attorney and General Counsel for Alamance Farmers’ Mutual Insurance Company. He is married to the former Lynn Frye of Alamance, have 3 grown children, and 2 grandchildren.
