Guy Dawson Rouse | North Carolina Attorney

Guy Dawson Rouse III was born and raised in Kinston, North Carolina.  After completing high school, Mr. Rouse joined the United States Navy and served on active duty for six years.  In the Navy, Mr. Rouse served as a Fire Controlman, maintaining a weapons system known as the Phalanx Close In Weapon System (CIWS).  After his honorable discharge in 2000, Mr. Rouse’s extensive experience with electronics and microwave generation allowed him to obtain employment with a semiconductor packaging company in the Research Triangle Park in Durham where he was quickly promoted to a Process Engineering position.  While working full time on second shift in RTP, Attorney Rouse attended North Carolina State University during the day as a full-time student and obtained an undergraduate degree in Economics.  After graduating from North Carolina State University, Mr. Rouse immediately enrolled at North Carolina Central University’s School of Law.  Mr. Rouse graduated with honors from NCCU and passed the bar upon first sitting in September of 2009.

After passing the bar, Mr. Rouse was employed at a small firm in Chapel Hill practicing high volume criminal law.    Mr. Rouse’s wife soon thereafter obtained a position as a Professor of Economics at Elon University’s Business School and at that time Mr. Rouse decided to open a practice in Alamance County.  During the existence of the Rouse Law Office located in Graham, North Carolina, Mr. Rouse provided quality legal care to both criminal and family law clients.  In September of 2010, local and well-respected Attorney Keith Whited recognized Mr. Rouse’s ability in the courtroom and asked him to join his firm.  Since that time, Mr. Rouse and Mr. Whited have aggressively pursued both personal injury cases and other civil cases as a team.

Mr. Rouse now resides with his wife and two children in Elon, North Carolina.  He is active member of the community and serves on the Board of Directors for Alamance County Meals on Wheels.
